So Many Tools So Little Time
In a recent blog at LifeHacker, they discussed an app for building habits: HabitBull – Habit Tracker for android and iOS.
There are piles of tools designed to help you build habits quickly. However, this particular app is a fantastic combination of the best apps on the market. It allows you to track multiple habits at a time. Though, as I have discussed previously, it may be best to focus on one habit at a time. The free version of this app allows you to track 5 habits which is perfect for creating or breaking habits.
The one tool I have found most useful for years is Todoist. It makes it amazingly easy to keep track of the things you need to get done on a daily basis in the order that works for you. Features
The calendar view will show you if you have succeeded keeping the habit from day to day. This uses the “Don't Break the Chain” method I discussed in my book. By seeing visually a chain of days that you have managed to follow through with your plan, it is easier to push yourself to stay on track.
Being a data junkie, I love the charts and graphs in this particular app. They make it super simple to follow along and track your success.
Finally, there are many other features like motivational quotes and even reminders in this app.
I am always looking for new apps to make keeping my habits in check and this app is my new favorite. You can check it out here.
